Yes, it is safe to do an Easy Rider tour over the Hai Van Pass. The guides who lead these tours are very experienced and have made this trip countless times, ensuring that they know the roads well and are prepared for any challenges that may arise. Additionally, the pass itself sees relatively little traffic due to the new tunnel connection. While it may be an adventurous experience, it is definitely safe as long as you follow your guide’s instructions.
On the route we can stop regularly to take a picture. The easyrider guide knows how to find the most beautiful places and you can also indicate when you want to stop. If you want to add a destination that is off the route, this can be indicated. Depending on the distance and time this can be added for an additional fee.
The Hai Van Pass is great to visit all year round, although the experience may differ slightly depending on the season. The views are generally clear and spectacular throughout the year. During the winter months, the pass may be more prone to fog and mist, which can affect visibility. However, some people actually prefer visiting during the winter months because the scenery can be even more dramatic and mysterious in the fog. Ultimately, the best time to visit the Hai Van Pass depends on your personal preferences and travel plans.
In the event of a heavy rainstorm or dangerous weather conditions, the guide may choose to postpone the tour for another day. However, this is uncommon as the guides are experienced in navigating different weather conditions and will provide raincoats to ensure that the rider stays dry. The rain can actually add a unique element to the tour, with the landscape looking lush and vibrant
