Key Highlights:
Between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Hanoi and head west by limousine toward Pu Luong Nature Reserve. It's a scenic drive through the mountains, with a comfort stop along the way.
Arrive in Pu Luong around midday, check in to your eco retreat, and enjoy a relaxed local lunch. You’ll have some free time to settle in and take in the peaceful surroundings—many lodges have pools or terraces overlooking the hills.
In the afternoon, drive a short distance to the starting point of a light trek. Cross a hanging bridge over the Cham River and walk through Ba Village, home to traditional Thai stilt houses. Along the way, you’ll see handmade bamboo waterwheels used for irrigation—a clever piece of local engineering still in use today.
This tranquil Green Mountain Homestay offers spacious, elegantly decorated bungalows surrounded by beautiful gardens, creating a perfect escape in Ninh Binh. Guests can relax by the pool or enjoy meals and coffee in the charming outdoor seating areas. With a welcoming family host, excellent amenities, and thoughtful touches, this homestay provides a comfortable and relaxing stay for travelers.
Key Highlights:
After breakfast, set off on a morning trek to Kho Muong Village. The trail begins near Thai stilt houses and gradually opens up to sweeping views of Pu Luong’s terraced fields. Once you reach Kho Muong, explore the peaceful village and, if conditions allow, venture into the nearby Bat Cave—hidden in the jungle and home to a large bat colony.
Return to the lodge for lunch, pack up your things, and say goodbye to Pu Luong. The next leg of the journey takes you east toward Ninh Binh.
Enjoy a relaxing drive through countryside landscapes. Arrive in Ninh Binh—often called “Halong Bay on land”—and check in at your homestay or lodge. You’ll have some free time to relax by the pool or terrace before dinner.
Dinner is served at your accommodation. Enjoy the slower pace and quiet of the Ninh Binh countryside before a good night’s rest.
After lunch, relax on the drive back to Hanoi. You’ll arrive in the city around 6:30 PM—just in time to catch the evening buzz or wind down at your hotel.
Bring comfortable, breathable clothing, sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen, a hat, insect repellent, and a reusable water bottle. For cooler mornings and evenings, pack a light jacket or sweater.
