You’re picked up from your hotel in Phong Nha and transferred to Discovery Lodge. Here, you meet your guide for a short briefing, check your bike, and go over basic cycling rules for village roads. Once everything is set, the ride begins.
Cross the Son River by a small local boat run by Mr. Tham and his wife, who have been paddling this route since wartime. After landing, cycle through quiet villages, rice fields, and riverside paths. You’ll see how rice is grown, how fish are raised in the river, and how daily farming life continues much as it has for generations.
Arrive at Duck Tang Farm for a relaxed local lunch in a rural setting, surrounded by fields and farmland.
Cycle back toward Phong Nha town, then transfer back to your hotel, arriving in the mid-afternoon.
