Itinerary
Start trip :
Hotel pick-up in Saigon
Between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Settle in for a 2-hour drive south to Ben Tre province, where coconut palms line the waterways and daily life revolves around the river.
Stop 1 :
Boat trip on Ben Tre River
Arriving at the pier, hop on a local boat to cruise along the wide Mekong River tributary. You’ll pass by fishermen, cargo boats, and riverside homes, getting a real sense of how people live and work on the water.
Stop 2 :
Coconut and mat-making workshops
Your first stop is a coconut processing workshop, where locals turn every part of the coconut into something useful — oil, candy, coir, and more. Then visit a nearby family-run mat-weaving house to see how traditional sleeping mats are made by hand.
Stop 3 :
Village walk and local snacks
Take a short walk through a quiet village tucked under the coconut trees. Along the way, stop for fresh tropical fruits, a cup of honeybee tea, and a taste of sweet coconut candy — all locally made.
Stop 4 :
Xe Loi or cycling tour

Cruise back to the boat pier and rejoin your driver for the ride back to Ho Chi Minh City. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel between 6:00 and 6:30 PM, with a fresh perspective on life in the Mekong Delta.

Light rain will not stop the tour. We recommend bringing a waterproof jacket. In case of heavy rain, the tour may be adjusted or rescheduled.

Cycling is optional — you can choose a Xe Loi (motorized cart) instead. If you prefer to skip cycling entirely, let us know in advance.
