Start
At the start of the Hoi An cycling tour, around 8:00 AM, the guide will meet you at your hotel and provide an introduction to the program.
Cycling
We’ll begin by biking to the picturesque countryside of Cam Thanh Village, where you can take stunning photos of the shrimp farm, duck farms, cows, birds, buffalo, bamboo, and vegetable fields.
Bamboo boat
Board a Bamboo Basket Boat to explore the Water Coconut Palm Forest, catch crabs and experience the rural life of Cam Thanh Village while learning traditional bamboo handicrafts with locals.
Villages
Continuing our cycling tour through the countryside of Hoi An, we’ll ride to Thanh Nam Fishing Village and meet local fishermen while observing their daily activities of catching fish, crabs, and squid despite modern fishing ships going to far fishing areas in the East Sea.
Lantern making
Continuing our biking tour, we will head to a destination where you can learn about the traditional craft of lantern making.
Additionally, if you’re feeling adventurous, you can opt to experience riding a buffalo under the expert guidance of the local farmers and even capture some great photos with the majestic animal.
Farming
After hopping back on our bikes, we make our way to Tra Que Herb Garden Veggie Village, a picturesque village renowned for its wide variety of herbs and vegetables, located a mere 2.5 kilometers from Hoi An.
Upon arrival, we are welcomed with a refreshing drink and given the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll around the village, meet the friendly locals, and observe their daily farming activities.
Experience farming with local farmers by participating in planting vegetables, including picking up weeds, digging and leveling the land, making beds, transplanting vegetables, and watering them.
Cooking class
Participate in a hands-on cooking class at Tra Que village where you will learn how to prepare the traditional Tam Huu spring roll and crispy Vietnamese pancake, Banh xeo, a popular dish in the central region of Vietnam.
Lunch
Indulge in a scrumptious Vietnamese traditional lunch consisting of seven flavorful dishes.
Boat tour
After a satisfying lunch, you can relax before heading to the Bach Dang Dock for a boat trip on the Thu Bon river for an hour. On this trip, you can witness local fishermen catching various marine creatures like fish, crabs, squid, and shrimp. You’ll even have the chance to learn how to cast a net and hopefully catch some fish yourself.
Finally, you’ll head to Dai Chiem estuary to explore the tranquil waterways and witness the bustling activity of boats and wharfs.
End
At the end of the Hoi An cycling tour, the guide will accompany you back to your hotel.
