Transfer from Ho Chi Minh City

At around 8:30–9:00 AM, your private driver will pick you up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. Sit back and enjoy the journey as you leave the busy streets behind and head south toward the lush landscapes of the Mekong Delta.

12:00 PM :

Arrival and lunch at the homestay

You’ll arrive around noon at a peaceful riverside homestay near Can Tho. A home-cooked lunch is served right by the water, with boats drifting by — a calm and authentic start to your time in the Delta.

Afternoon :

Guided cycling tour

After lunch, hop on a bicycle with your local guide and explore the peaceful countryside. Ride along narrow village paths, small bridges, and quiet backroads that cars can’t reach. It’s a great way to experience real local life and scenery that most visitors miss.

Evening :

Dinner and riverside relaxation

Return to the homestay in the late afternoon. Enjoy a fresh dinner made from local ingredients and spend the evening however you like — reading, relaxing, or just enjoying the slow rhythm of Delta life.

Floating Markets and Local Life

5:30 AM :

Early boat trip to floating markets

Set off before sunrise for a peaceful boat ride through the still waterways of the Delta. First stop is Phong Dien Floating Market — less crowded and more local than others. You’ll have breakfast right on the boat, served by one of the market vendors, just like the locals do.

Morning :

Explore canals and visit Cai Rang

Cruise through smaller canals lined with tropical greenery before arriving at Cai Rang Floating Market, the busiest in the Mekong. Here, boats sell everything from pineapples to noodles, each advertising their goods by hanging samples on tall poles.

Late morning :

Fruit garden and noodle factory

Make a stop at a nearby orchard to see how fruits grow in the Mekong region — and taste a few fresh ones. Then visit a small rice noodle workshop to learn how one of Vietnam’s most famous ingredients is made, from start to finish.

Afternoon :

Free time at the homestay

Return to the homestay around midday. After lunch, the rest of the day is yours to relax. Borrow a bicycle, book a massage, or just sit by the river with a cold drink.

Evening :

Dinner and overnight

Dinner is included at the homestay. Enjoy your final night in the Mekong before heading to the island the next day.

Day 3 :

Can Tho to Con Dao Island

Transfer to ferry port

After a light breakfast around 5:00–5:30 AM, check out from the homestay and hop in the car for your transfer to Tran De Pier.

8:00 AM :

Ferry to Con Dao

Board the morning ferry to Con Dao, a remote island known for its quiet beaches, historical sites, and untouched nature. The ferry ride takes about 3.5 hours.

Late morning :

Arrive in Con Dao

You’ll arrive around 11:30 AM with the rest of the day free to explore or relax. The tour ends here — perfect if you want to extend your trip on the island.
