Morning
Depart from Ho Chi Minh city (on your own arrangement or as add on) to Cai Be.
Arrive in Cai Be, were you will be greeted at the harbor. Here you go on a boat that takes you deeper in to the Mekong Delta to Mekong Lodge.
Check in to your bungalow.
Afternoon
Lunch is served in a nice restaurant with views on the river.
Get ready for a relaxing cycling tour, where you will witness the charm of rural life in the Mekong Delta. Along the way, soak in the stunning views of the countryside, quaint villages, lush orchards, serene rivers, and smaller canals that add to the area’s rustic charm.
Visit some local handicraft places were they make things like banana leaves hammock and thatched from water coconut leaves, daily house products being made from water hyacinth. You can also do some free local fruit tasting and listening to Vietnamese folk music.
By a traditional rowing sampan boat, you explore the smaller canals.
Back at the Mekong Lodge there is a cooking demonstration were you learn some of the basics of the Vietnamese cuisine.
In the evening there is dinner in the restaurant, with the riverside Bar that stays open until mid-night.

Day 2: Mekong Lodge
Cai Be Floating Market & Handicraft villages
- Breakfast
Morning
Wake up early and enjoy a delicious breakfast at the restaurant between 07:00 – 08:00am to fuel up for the day ahead.
Starting from 08:00am, embark on boat trip to visit the Cai Be floating market, to learn more about the local life on the water.
After that you continue by boat to discover handicraft villages.Â
Go back to the Mekong Lodge.
At 11:30am clear the bill and check out, before leaving at 12:00pm to go by boat back to Cai Be harbor.
From here you take the bus or private car back to Ho Chi Minh City.
