Itinerary

You’re picked up from your hotel in Dalat and begin the scenic drive toward Cat Tien National Park. The route takes you through the Central Highlands, with changing landscapes and countryside views along the way.

Arrive at Cat Tien National Park around midday. After lunch, you check in and take a short break before heading into the jungle.

Set off on a guided jungle trek of about 5 km. The walk leads you deep into the forest to see the ancient Giant Tung Tree, the impressive Vietnamese Rosewood Tree, and the peaceful Ben Cu Rapids. The trail is manageable and takes around two hours at a relaxed pace.

As night falls, join a guided night safari covering roughly 6 km. During this 50-minute drive, you have the chance to spot nocturnal wildlife such as deer, civets, porcupines, and other animals that are most active after dark.

After the safari, return to the park area for dinner and settle in for the night inside Cat Tien National Park.

Start the day with breakfast at the national park’s restaurant, surrounded by early morning jungle sounds.

Travel by jeep for about 9 km to the Bau Sau trailhead. From there, you trek 5 km through the forest to reach Bau Sau, a protected Ramsar wetland known for its wildlife, birdlife, and crocodile habitat. After spending time at the lake, you hike back to the jeep pickup point.
