FAQ

The 2-day Sapa homestay trekking is of moderate difficulty, which means that you should be able to handle long walks without much trouble, but you do not need to be extremely fit. However, keep in mind that you will be trekking through the mountains, so if you have difficulty walking or have leg injuries, it may be better to consider another activity or opt for a 1-day trek instead.
Staying in a homestay of ethnic minorities is entirely for the unique experience. Do not expect too much comfort and luxury. The homestays are traditional and the people live very simple. However, there is always a western toilet, mosquito nets and a hot shower.
The lighter your luggage is, the easier you make it for yourself. For a two-day Sapa homestay trekking you probably have enough with 1 extra pair of clean clothes, together with your toiletries. Also take something against the rain and sun, such as a cap, sunscreen, sunglasses and jacket.

During the winter months you should bring some warmer clothes, but we recommend that you wear layers and no thick winter coats and sweaters. You naturally warm up while walking, so make sure you wear clothes that are easy to put on and take off.

For the trekking we recommend good walking shoes and no flip-flops.

You have 2 options to store your luggage. (1) We can store your luggage in Sapa. (2) If you choose to return to the same hotel in Hanoi after this Sapa homestay trekking tour, it is no problem at most hotels to leave your luggage there for free.
If you want to stay longer in Sapa after your trekking tour, we can arrange this for you. It is also possible to add other activities, such as visiting a local minority market or a sightseeing trip to waterfalls and the Tram Ton Pass near Sapa town.
